"At the center of medicine there is always a human relationship between a patient and a doctor."
Luca Procaccianti joined the American Balint Society's Council in January 2023 as a Brandeis University student and Heller MBA Board Fellow.
Luca grew up in the Providence, RI area where they currently reside. As a child, Luca pursued an interest in the performing arts through dance and theater. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire in 2015 with a BA in Women's Studies and minors in English and Race and Ethnic Studies, Luca spent over five years managing coffee shops in the Providence, RI area. Luca's interest in business processes drove them to return to school and they are now an MBA candidate in Heller's Social Impact Program. They are passionate about community, justice, and the Oxford comma. In their spare time, Luca enjoys listening to podcasts, ceramics, and spending time with their wife and two cats.
Luca is excited to work alongside folks at the American Balint Society throughout their fellowship.
