The Intensives committee has endorsed forming a new group in January (and a second in March, if there's demand) for folks who have been to at least one intensive and are now leading virtually.
We'll use the 1.5 hour Intensives format of doing a Balint group and following that with reflection on the leadership of the group. There will be opportunities for group members to lead. After four of these, every other week, we'll meet for a final 1.5 hour session to address the experience and the issues raised by virtual leadership training.
Faculty for the Intensive-style sessions (no, it's not "a full intensive" for training purposes) will be Eran Metzger, MD and Kathy Knowlton, PhD. Faculty leading the final session will be Jeff Sternlieb, PhD. This group will meet Wednesdays  1/13, 1/27, 2/10, 2/24 and 3/10. Sessions will start at 8PM Eastern/5:00PM Pacific time.
Because the ABS Leadership Project explores virtual leadership training, we will ask that you help us by providing feedback. This will involve an initial written report about your previous Balint leader training experiences and a second report about this experience when it is completed. In addition, you will participate in the final group debrief session led by Jeff Sternlieb who will provide questions to consider for writing and for discussion.

Acceptance into the Leadership Project will be in the order of applications received, however ABS may defer acceptance to the later group in the interest of creating a balanced group membership
